Haute 100 MIA: Pitbull to Guest Star & Perform on ‘Empire’ this Fall

In a press run for the Television Critics Association, Fox network announced Miami native Pitbull will guest star and perform on its new hit television series “Empire.”

Mr. 305 will appear on the second series of “Empire,” along with a slew of other artists. While his show date has not been scheduled as of yet, we do know he will appear sometime during the fall. Pitbull will be performing “No Doubt About It” with Jussie Smollett, who plays Jamal Lyon the new helm of the Empire throne. No other details have been revealed.

According to Variety, Pitbull is one of many guest stars for the new season, including Mariah Carey, whose role has also been top-secret, Chris Rock, Kelly Rowland, Marisa Tomei, Ludacris and recurring player Adam Rodriguez, who will play a potential love interest for Emmy-nominated Taraji P. Henson’s character Cookie.

The Miami native certainly have a lot going on. He is slated to release a new signature vodka from Voli Vodka called “Mango’s” with a hometown eatery and club Mango’s Tropical Café.

In addition, this fall, Pitbull will have a Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino called the “Time of Our Lives.”  The seven-date residency will start Sept. 23 and will have shows on the 25, 26 and 30 as well as Oct. 2, 3 and 7. He is also slated to go on tour next year

Currently, Pitbull is celebrating his first Spanish project in five years titled Dale as in dah-le in Spanish, which essential mean “give it,” “go ahead” or slang for “do it.” The album features a few of Pitbull’s friends such as Sensato & Osmani Garcia (El Taxi) and Mohombi & Wisin (Baddest Girl in Town).

According to Nielsen Music, Dale has become the No. 1 album on the Top Latin Albums chart.
