Say what you want about Kim Kardashian West but there is no denying her popularity and bank account. Worth somewhere between a reported $40 million and $85 million, the reality show star and once-again pregnant wife of Kanye West will go cha-ching tonight in San Francisco where she’ll be at The Castro Theatre to promote her new book, Selfish. Don’t call her irrevelent—not with 37 million followers on Instagram, another 33 million Twitter, her reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, entering its (gulp!) eighth year this fall and her haute new book, featuring selfie photography—many never-before-seen personal images—of the bombshell beauty.
In tonight’s Commonwealth Club-sponsored Q&A, the queen of fame will be in conversation with LaDoris Cordell, Northern California’s first African-American judge, a former Stanford University vice provost and independent police auditor for the City of San Jose. This event, originally scheduled for The Paramount Theatre in Oakland, is not without controversy as some people think the Commonwealth Club is lowering itself to bring in someone like Kardashian. One topic expected to be discussed is the news surrounding Bruce Jenner, Kardashian’s stepfather who, as a transgender woman, is now known as Caitlyn Jenner.
Of course there is a VIP Party Package available for club members ($200) and non-club members ($220). Here’s what you’ll receive:
– Seating in ORCH FRT rows A – G
– 2 copies of Selfish
– Selfish book signing with Kim (Only available 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Must be in line by 7pm for access)
– VIP lounge & cocktail reception access 5:30pm – 7:00pm
– Commemorative VIP Laminate
– Early entry into venue
– Onsite VIP Host
This is a bargain compared to a makeup lesson with Kardashian. Who knows, maybe she’ll let you take a selfie with her!
