Haute 100 SF Update: Inside Ayesha and Stephen Curry’s Baby Shower & Nursery

The Currys

Following the celebration of the Golden State’s NBA Championship, the Currys celebrated the impending arrival of the sibling to the charming Riley Curry.

The shower was organized by Sonya Curry, Stephen’s mother, and Ayesha’s best friend Brittany M. Barr. From the looks of the photo as well as hashtags used, it is safe to assume the theme of the shower was your standard summer garden. Mom-to-be glowed in an all white maxi dress and finished the ensemble with a flower crown.

While the couple did not share too many photos of the baby shower, the Currys did give us a peek inside the baby’s nursery.

Ayesha teamed up with luxury furniture store Pottery Barn to design baby No. 2’s room. In a blog post, she writes, “I am so excited to share the nursery remodel with you all!!! We had to convert our home office into a nursery in order to make room for baby Curry #2. I felt extremely stuck on how to make it work, look and feel like a peaceful nursery. I did what I could and ultimately felt overwhelmed when all was said and done. The room did not feel peaceful or tranquil at all. I then received the most amazing news! One of my favorite home stores, Pottery Barn / Pottery Barn Kids wanted to do a complete nursery makeover for us! I was so thrilled and honored.”

The theme of the nursery is neutral, light and airy. As she stated on her blog, the 26-year-old’s favorite pieces are the crib, the organic bedding, the custom-made changing station as well as the “rug on rug” look.

Ayesha is scheduled to give birth sometime in July.
