Miami Open: Inside the Lacoste and Grey Goose VIP Suites
The final weekend of the 2015 Miami Open is upon us, and with all of the stars, soirées and shocking twists that have happened already, we can definitely say that this year’s event has been a success. And while some of the world’s best athletes are busy competing in one of the most prestigious tournaments of the year, Miami’s finest are honoring them the best way they know how: by wining and dining their way through luxury box suites sponsored by some of the world’s most raved-about brands.
With only Women’s and Men’s semifinals and finals left to go, powerhouses like Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych and Serena Williams are ready to duke it out for the title. While they do, let’s take a look at two of our favorite off-court champions: the Lacoste VIP Suite and prestigious Grey Goose Lounge.
Lacoste VIP Suite As the official outfitter of this year’s tournament, Lacoste brought a new “je ne sais quois” to the tournament that the Miami Open has never experienced before. Decked out in white, the modern and unsurprisingly perfect, French-chic suite was frequented by Miami’s finest — all of whom watched the games while sipping wine and nibbling on delicious spreads of meat, cheeses, yogurt parfaits, caviar, sandwich croissants, Lacoste-branded eclairs and more. Even more, this fashionable hotspot gave both guests and competing athletes the chance to peruse new pieces by the French leader in luxury retail: a beautiful, co-branded Miami Open apparel collection, the LACOSTE LT12 capsule collection and a special, limited-edition tennis racket. Game, set, shop!
GREY GOOSE Lounge
2015 marks the first year Grey Goose partnered with the Miami Open, and despite being a newcomer, this luxury vodka brand came ready to play. Inviting guests of the event to indulge in the Grey Goose Lounge, the international leader in liquor hit it out of the stadium with fabulous fare and creative cocktails like Le Melon Mule, Le Citron Bloody Mary, L’Orange Cosmopolitan and the GREY GOOSE “Le Fizz.” The real champion of the delicious drink vs. drink tournament, however, is “The Serve”: a tantalizing combination of Grey Goose vodka, freshly-squeezed lemon juice, locally-sourced strawberries, simple syrup, mint and club soda. Can you taste the trophy?
