Haute 100 Miami: David Beckham’s New H&M Menswear Line Goes For Classics
David Beckham’s new H&M menswear line looks decidedly high fashion from its new campaign. The line consists of minimalist pieces like tailored suits and fitted polos that Becks handpicked himself to represent. Beckham based the collection on pieces that he himself likes to wear on a day-to-day basis: “Tee-shirts, jeans, shirts and bomber jackets,” says Beckham, “This is all my personal taste, what I feel comfortable wearing.”
The Modern Essentials campaign was shot by Hollywood director Marc Foster who is known for his Quantum of Solace, World War Z, Monster’s Ball and the Kite Runner. The collection substantiates H&M’s claims of delivering fast “fashion.”
