Check Out the Holiday Window Displays at Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas and Encore recently unveiled holiday display windows worthy of the famed Fifth Avenue retail district in New York City. Designed to evoke nostalgia of the winter season, the windows chronologically follow an original story titled “The Towers Bronze—A Fable Wynn” in which two gold elves, Wynnola and Edwynn, discover a fairy-tale land filled with hidden treasures, parasols and globes of flowers floating in air.
“Our stunning holiday window displays are designed to evoke holiday joy while showcasing the exceptional shopping and dining experiences found only at Wynn and Encore,” said Hedy Woodrow, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations at Wynn Las Vegas. “Guests are invited to take a journey through this seasonal tale and explore high-end gift selections available exclusively at the resort.”
Each window is impeccably designed to incorporate classic holiday elements bound by a cohesive theme. Each window features fashion and retail items found at Wynn and Encore, including off-the-runway gowns from Georges Chakra and Naeem Khan, as well as a pair of vintage Manolo Blahnik from archives made famous in the 2006 movie “Marie Antoinette.”
Inspired by offerings found at The Buffet, one window features a completely edible gingerbread house, sugar sculptures and cookie towers designed specifically for the display by Wynn’s Executive Pastry Chef Pierre Gatel. A toy shop-themed window highlights dream-like mobiles, dolls and gifts from around the world found only at Wynn and Encore.
Concepts for the holiday windows began in February 2014 and were mocked up before installation. Guests may experience the wonderment of the seasonal story in order starting at Wynn’s Main Entrance through both Wynn and Encore Esplanades, ending at Encore.
