It was a family affair for honoree Kate Hudson at Baby2Baby’s annual gala over the weekend, as Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and Oliver Hudson were on hand to see the star accept the Giving Tree Award, which is given to those who are dedicated to children in need.
The Tiffany & Co. presented evening, held at The Book Bindery in Culver City, was emceed by Will Arnett, with presenters who included Baby2Baby Ambassadors Jessica Alba, Julie Bowen and Nicole Richie.

Additional guests at the fete included Baby2Baby co-presidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein, the Event Host Committee of Baby2Baby Board Members and Angels including Sara Foster, Jenni Kayne, Jennifer Meyer Maguire, Michelle Monaghan, Jada Paul, Busy Philipps, Molly Sims and Rachel Zoe and guests Kerry Washington, Zach Braff, Joel Madden, Vince Vaughn, Vanessa Bryant, Jordana Brewster, Colin Hanks, Baron Davis, Isabella Brewster, Sasha Alexander, Fred Savage, Lisa Ling and Embeth Devidtz, among others.

The dinner extravaganza was led by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo from Animal/Son of a Gun along with L.A’s top chefs including: Roy Choi from Kogi, Josiah Citrin from Mélisse, Evan Funke from Bucato, Suzanne Goin from A.O.C., Ludo Lefebvre from Trois Mec, Walter Manzke from République, Ori Menashe from Bestia, Dahlia Narvaez from Mozza, Matthew Poley from Heirloom LA, Andy Ricker from Pok Pok, Steve Samson from Sotto, Kris Yenbamroong from Night+Market, Ari Taymor from Alma, Kazunori Nozawa from KazuNori and Shiho Yoshikawa from Sweet Rose Creamery.

The Spare Room, in the Roosevelt Hotel, created a custom bar for the evening. DJ Samantha Ronson DJ the after party, while the cocktail hour included a silent auction featuring a custom RETNA painting, tickets to a Marchesa NY fashion show, a buy-out of Trois Mec, a private dinner + wine pairing from Jon Shook & Vinny Dotolo, and much more. All floral arrangements provided by Stephanie Schur of Botany.
TLC capped the evening by performing hits such as “Waterfalls” and “Unpretty.”
The 2014 Baby2Baby Gala was held to raise awareness and funds for the Los Angeles based non-profit organization.
