The team who brought us Park Tavern and Marlowe has worked their magic again. Believe it! This is the third restaurant in just over three years from Executive Chef/Partner Jennifer Puccio and Managing Partners Anna Weinberg and James Nicholas. If the star-studded opening of San Francisco’s Cavalier restaurant is any indication of success, then the Cavalier will surely become an instant classic.
Designed by Ken Fulk, the 135-seat restaurant is divided into four unique, intimate spaces; the ultimate mix master of high style and downtown cool. Building on the success of of its two sister restaurants, The Cavalier aims to be a sure haute spot for any meal, any time of day. The new restaurant is located adjacent to the new Viceroy Group property, The Hotel Zetta San Francisco.
The grand opening celebration brought the who’s who of San Francisco on Thursday, August 2. Key influencers and VIP guests included Willie Brown, Sonya Molodetskaya, Jack Calhoun, Designer Jeffery Alan Marks from Bravo TV’s hit show Million Dollar Decorators, Lisa Alexander, Actor Kyle MacLachlan, Joy Bianchi, Cecilia Chang, Karen Caldwell, Keith Belling, Hosain Rahman, Alex Fisher, Gary Friedman, OJ & Gary Shansby, Tatiana Sorokko, Ali & Alex Turner, and members from the America’s Cup – Oracle Team USA.
