Inside Seia’s Museum-Grade Hospitality

Fifty-four floors above Brickell, hospitality has been quietly reimagined as something closer to curation. At Seia, the contemporary Italian restaurant and private members club born of a landmark partnership between OKO Group and The Bastion Collection, art is not an accent but architecture itself — a deliberate, museum-grade collection that transforms the building’s highest floors into a living gallery suspended above Biscayne Bay.

Inside the restaurant, the centerpiece is impossible to overlook: an Andy Warhol from the iconic Camouflage series, nearly thirty-three and a half feet long, stretching above the banquettes like a horizon line. Italian marble floors, bleached oak, mirrored detailing, and intentional indoor greenery soften the architecture, allowing the Warhol — and the skyline beyond the wraparound terrace — to breathe. A second anchor arrives in the form of a Joe Bradley Untitled, whose loose, gestural geometry quietly grounds the main dining room.

Step onto the 54th floor and you are met not by a hostess stand but by a Richard Prince gallery wall that announces, unmistakably, what kind of evening lies ahead. A few steps further, George Condo’s Seated Female Nude presides over the threshold to the dining room, a quiet, knowing welcome into a space where the conversation between art and appetite has only just begun. A second anchor arrives in the form of a Joe Bradley Untitled, whose loose, gestural geometry quietly grounds the main dining room.

Ascend to the 55th floor and the curatorial story deepens. The staircase to Seia Club functions as a processional, lined with Dennis Hopper photographs that prepare the eye for what comes next. A monumental Ling Pui — nearly eighteen feet wide — guides guests down the entry corridor, before George Condo’s Pope marks the transition into the Seia Club lounge. It is, by any reasonable measure, one of the most considered arrival sequences in the city.

The club itself, wrapped in walnut, custom terrazzo, and concentric ceiling forms that nod to rippling water, holds works by Nate Lowman and Joe Bradley above the bar — a quieter register, but no less intentional. A custom LED installation behind the DJ stage introduces a rotating program of curated digital art — presented by Blackdove, a new gallery model exclusively featuring digital moving image artists — that shifts from morning into afternoon and again into evening, extending the collection into a contemporary, kinetic medium that evolves with the rhythm of the room.

What designer Laurence Macadam of Zervudachi, Roberts & Macadam London has achieved, alongside the vision of OKO Group and The Bastion Collection, is a redefinition of what a restaurant and club can be. Seia is not a venue with art on the walls. It is an art experience that happens to serve dinner — and in Miami, that distinction matters.
