It’s not just a rumor, recently retired soccer star David Beckham is really in Miami to discuss the possibility of brining Major League Soccer (MLS) back to Miami. His Galaxy contract gives him the option to buy a North American soccer franchise for a mere $25 million. He is meeting with investors like Marcelo Claure, a billionaire who owns Club Bolivar in Le Paz and others. We’re pretty sure Haute 100-lister and Dolphins owner Stephen Ross must be pretty happy about the possibilities of reigniting magic city soccer as he has been looking to add soccer to his stadium’s rotation. Miami did have an MLS team called Miami Fusion from 1998-2001.
