A Chocolate Love Affair: Godiva’s Fifth Avenue Valentine’s Pop-Up

Valentine’s Day can be a perilous time for anyone, whether you have a date or not. Thankfully, Godiva, the world-famous Belgian chocolatier, is making things a little easier for us all this year. In honor of the historic romance between love and chocolate, Godiva has transformed their flagship Fifth Avenue store into an exclusive pop-up experience that celebrates the art of writing love letters through a showcase of spectacular chocolate installations. On display in the store will be an elaborately crafted desk, library bookshelf, and oversized mailbox entirely recreated in decadent chocolate and adorned with flourishes like hearts made of white chocolate truffles.

If the interior of the Godiva store isn’t temptation enough to visit this one-of-a-kind experience, as an added incentive Godiva encourages customers to create their own love letters while they are in the store, and will even stamp and mail each letter at no additional cost. So, stop by Godiva on Fifth Avenue (look for the facade that is shaped like a giant box of chocolates) for a selection of uniquely crafted chocolate items exclusive to the pop-up, like limited edition chocolate strawberries topped with hazelnuts, and make your Valentine’s Day gift this year extra special by acting as classical lover Abelard and writing a personalized love note for your Heloise.
