Michelin Chef Yannick Alleno Collaborates with the One and Only Palm
Three-star Michelin chef Yannick Alleno has recently collaborated with the One and Only Palm Jumeirah to develop three unique dining concepts: Zest, Stay by Yannick Alleno, and IOI which will open in October 2010.
Chef Alleno is renowned for his role as head chef of Le Meurice in Paris and has been coined “”le princce des palais” by his colleagues and admirers. Alleno entered into the prestigious realm of the world’s greatest chefs in 2007 after he received his third Michelin star and also won “Chef of the Year” in 2008 for his work at Le Meurice.
At the One and Only The Palm he will bring an innovative concept approach to dining coupled with delicious local and international cuisine. Romantic evenings will be held at STAY, casual get togethers can be enjoyed at Zest and party-goers can dance the night away at IOI by the marina.”It was a natural decision to partner with One & Only The Palm as it echoes the same quality and exigency I have in culinary and food creation,” he said.
Chef Alleno has selected top notch chefs to direct this project who will be led by an executive chef David Hemmerlé who has worked alongside Alleno for years.
Dubians will be able to experience these three unique restaurants very soon with the pre-opening date for the Only and Only The Palm set for October 2010. The new boutique hotel comprises of 90 keys and four exclusive beach front villas will become one of Dubai’s most intimate beach side resorts. The decor will feature Moorish and Andalusian influences creating a space which is at once refined and tasteful as well as fun and contemporary.
