How to Throw a Million Dollar Baby’s Birthday Bash
Philanthropists and Owners of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Inc., Gabriel and Christine Chiu celebrated their son’s, Gabriel Chiu III’s 1st birthday. Held at the newly opened Cayton Children’s Museum in Santa Monica, this birthday bash brought together personalities such as Teddi Mellencamp, Joyce Bonelli, and Alexa Dell. The LA Philanthropists focused on starting a Fun-for-All fund to give underprivileged kids access to newly renovated Cayton Children’s Museum.
Guests enjoyed over-the-top carnival-themed activations such as a Gucci Claw Machine, Money Booth, Virtual Reality, a Custom Baby G Surf Shop, Face Painters, Arcade Room, Floral Ferris Wheel, Marionette Shows, Caricatures and much more and got to feast on revamped carnival fare such as corn dogs, lobster rolls, popcorn, cotton candy and tater tots topped with caviar.
Christine and Dr. Gabriel Chiu chose to give their son, Gabriel Chiu III, a one million gift donation on the occasion of his first birthday to dedicate a wing of the Museum. The generous donation will support ShareWell, the nonprofit behind the Cayton, which is dedicated to nurturing children to become confidant, compassionate human beings with the design to make the world a better place. Originally privatizing the iconic Santa Monica Pier for Baby Gabriel’s birthday, Chiu’s decided instead to give the money to the Museum so as to foster the spirit of philanthropy at a very early childhood. Resulting from this occasion is also the Chiu Fun-For-All fund which will provide free museum admission for children of underserved communities.
