The retail locale consists of Art Deco architectural design with an essence of 1930s and 1940s décor glamour paired down by playful trinkets (i.e. playing card sets, sprinkles of animal print accents, and delicate porcelain dolls). Design hotspots include a colorful shoe wall, chic glass display fixtures, small clusters of lounge furnishings, and last but not least, a secluded Made-To-Measure nook located at the end of a mirrored corridor. Various Lanvin collections can found, such as women’s, men’s, swim, accessories, and even the bridal collection, Blanche.

On Thursday night, Tom Ford threw a glamorous cocktail party to celebrate the grand opening of his long-awaited new Beverly Hills boutique at 346 N. Rodeo Drive. Valentino, Milla Jovovich, Natalia Vodianova, Rachel Zoe, Eva Longoria, Harvey Weinstein, Karen Elson, Adrien Brody, Suzanne Somers were amongst the supporters of the couturier-Tom Ford himself.

Artists of music, film, and design; socialites, sports pros, and hipsters all threw back bubbles last night, Feb. 17 for the Agent Provocateur Flagship Store opening in Beverly Hills, California.

In 1987, Solange Azagury-Partridge needed an engagement ring, so she created one that consisted of an uncut diamond embedded in a simple gold band. So many people loved her designs that a few years later she launched her first 30-piece bridal jewelry line. As her earlier pieces attest, Azagury-Partridge broke the rules by creating dramatic sculptural settings from unconventional combinations of stones including precious and semi-precious gems, both cut and uncut. Her much anticipated collection is finally out and the recently opened flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills looks like the marriage of a rainbow and a lollipop, red velvet walls… with nothing but “ice” waiting for the right Goth princess to come in. And so we did. Feels so decadent, it is going to be the right match for us…

On the busy intersection of Wilshire and Rodeo amidst the mix of celebrities, tourists and cars that bustle by is Bvlgari. The constant flow of pedestrians and gridlocked automotives seem to have polished an architectural diamond in the rough into a multi-dimensional gem in the form of Bvlgari’s sparkling store. When we were given the opportunity to get a tour of this Beverly Hills cultural landmark, 'extravagance' was the word of the day.

Upon my first visit to the over-the-top Crystals at CityCenter (ahem, one of the Bachelor's latest date spots) I headed straight to Lanvin, as I, a Los Angeles native, do not get to spend much time in a space solely dedicated to Creative Director Alber Elbaz's genius. Barneys sells his purses; Saks has his shoes; but until now, an entire boutique showcasing the French label has been absent for us LA-based, fashion-enamored individuals.
