Amidst a series of civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and other illicit activities, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs finds himself entangled in a federal investigation, according to sources familiar with the matter. Federal agents executed searches on Combs’ properties this week, where firearms were reportedly discovered, and his phones were seized at an airport, as part of a warrant issued from the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Since November, Combs has faced five lawsuits in New York, accusing him of sexual assault, sexual trafficking, and engaging in criminal conduct. Combs has vehemently denied all allegations, denouncing them as baseless and sickening.

The lawsuits, filed individually, include allegations from various individuals. In November 2023, singer Cassie, Combs’ former romantic partner, filed a civil suit alleging sexual and physical abuse during their relationship. The suit was settled a day after its filing. Following Cassie’s lawsuit, others came forward, including Joie Dickerson-Neal and Liza Gardner, alleging sexual assault and misconduct dating back to the 1990s. These suits were filed under New York state’s Adult Survivors Act.

In December 2023, a Jane Doe filed a lawsuit alleging she was gang-raped and sex-trafficked by Combs and a former president of his record label when she was 17. Combs denied the allegations, calling them fictional.

The legal battles continued into 2024, with Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones filing a federal suit in February, alleging Combs and his associates engaged in serious illegal activities, including sexual harassment and drug distribution. Combs refuted these claims, dismissing them as fiction.

On March 25, 2024, federal agents raided Combs’ properties, seizing firearms and his phones. Combs, on his way to the Bahamas, was stopped at a Miami airport, where his phones were confiscated. He cooperated with authorities but was not detained. Meanwhile, Brendan Paul, described as a Combs associate in Jones’ suit, was arrested at the same airport. Paul faces drug-related charges.

Combs’ attorney described the raids as an overreach, emphasizing Combs’ innocence and commitment to clearing his name.

As the legal battles unfold, Combs and his associates remain under scrutiny, with the outcome of these investigations yet to be determined.
