Dozens of women have recently outed Marilyn Manson for his allegedly abusive behavior, but the latest lawsuit emerged Tuesday from his former assistant, Ashley Walters, who’s accusing the 52-year-old rock star of sexual assault, battery, and harassment.
The two met online in 2010, and their conversation escalated to a phone call discussing Walters’ photography work. According to Page Six, Manson invited Walters to his home for a late-night photoshoot where he allegedly requested that she remove her shirt and restrained her on his bed while attempting to kiss her before he “moved behind Walters and bit her ear while grabbing her hand and placing it in his underwear.” Thinking nothing of it at the time, Walters eventually became Manson’s personal assistant.
However, things went downhill for Walters after getting employed by Manson. He allegedly deprived her of sleep to work by his nocturnal schedule, threw dishes at her, pushed her up against a wall and even emailed her a picture of the wounds he inflicted on actress Esmé Bianco — who is also suing Manson — with the subject line, “See what happens?” Furthermore, Walters claimed that Manson would offer her up sexually to his influential industry friends and introduced her to a director who allegedly sexually abused her.
Additional details in Walters’ suit coincide with allegations that other women have made against Manson, including his obsession with Nazi memorabilia, which he allegedly coerced Walters and his ex Evan Rachel Wood to pose with for photographs.
Recently, Ashley Morgan Smithline claimed Manson raped and abused her during their 2-year on-and-off relationship, and he allegedly “bit her, whipped her, cut her with a swastika-emblazoned knife and shoved his fist in her mouth during sex.”
Last month, Esmé Bianco filed a lawsuit against Manson for allegedly drugging, torturing, and sexually assaulting her. While starring in his 2009 music video for “I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies,” Bianco claimed Manson required her to wear lingerie on a set with no crew members, gave her drugs and alcohol, and threatened her with violence and rape. She additionally accused him of electrocuting her and beating her with a whip used by the Nazis.
On top of the lawsuit, Bianco is currently trying to co-create the Phoenix Act, which “gives precious additional healing time to thousands of domestic violence survivors,” according to Page Six. The actress also pointed out the separate allegations made by fellow actress Evan Rachel Wood, who claimed earlier this year that Manson abused her.

In February, Wood released a statement about Manson on Instagram: “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”
Though Manson was dropped by his record label and longtime manager in wake of the scandal, he continues to insist that the accusations are “horrible distortions of reality.” In February, Manson wrote a statement on social media: “My intimate relationships have always been consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.” Likewise, Manson’s representatives continue to vehemently deny any accusations of his alleged sexually abusive behavior, according to Page Six.
