Deshaun Watson is an NFL quarterback for the Houston Texans but has recently come under fire due to his misconduct. At least 13 women have come forward and accused Watson of sexual assault allegations during massages he gave them.

Last week, Houston attorney Tony Buzbee said he had 12 women ready to testify. On Monday he told Fox 26 in Houston that the number of lawsuits has reached 14, with the claims being 24 in total.

“Most of the cases allege the same, or similar, conduct,” Buzbee said of the civil complaints.

NBC Sports has reported that Buzbee’s tactics in the past have been disingenuous, but that the public is responding to him this time around.

The NFL has launched a full-scale investigation into the quarterback as well. The cases have not yet been taken to court, but many are noticing that it’s highly unusual for all plaintiffs to only be represented by one lawyer – Tony Buzbee. Does this mean anything? Only time will tell.

Deshaun Watson’s camp has been largely silent during this time, with Watson only denying the accusations and saying they are “meritless.”
