Could the secret to red carpet-ready skin really lie in a 24k gold facial?
According to some of Hollywood's favorites, it just might. Skipping the run-of-the-mill procedures, celebs are turning to unconventional beauty treatments to maintain their movie-star worthy glow.
A Twilight Worthy Facial
What it is: Vampire Facial
What it does: For those who want the look of a facelift without an overly invasive procedure and the OOO time, a Vampire Facial (a.k.a Vampire Facelift) may be just what you're looking for. A doctor draws blood from the patient, and then reinserts it into the face via a Dermapen, or micro-needling, to give skin a refreshed look. The procedure may help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and can help to even out complexion by reducing the appearance of acne scars.

A variety of cupping treatments exist—all of which will leave you with a red-carpet worthy (à la Gwyneth Paltrow) mark.

As Heather Dubrow notes, on an episode of Real Housewives of Orange County, “It makes you young, and fabulous. Supposedly, the leech therapy brightens your skin, tightens your skin, and gives you a youthful glow.”
