Skincare brand H2O+ Beauty succumbs to the technological push that has come to upend the industry in recent years.
Earlier this month, the label unveiled the MiLi Moisturize Meter – a tiny gadget that measures skin hydration to inform customers how much moisture they need. The tool connects to a phone app to translate its readings into a percentage of how hydrated the skin is.
The device is the latest to come out of the label’s defining focus on hydration as well as its modern drive to empower its clients. "The MiLi Moisture Meter further realizes our overarching goal of meeting the needs of today's consumer with products that are clinically proven to boost hydration," said Joy Chen, CEO of H2O+ Beauty, in a press statement. "Our consumers are well-informed and tech-savvy, seeking a deeper understanding of the myriad products vying for their attention — yet often unaware of their skin's true hydration level. We are able to satisfy their need with this new tool, inspired by the tracking capabilities of wearable fitness technology, and prove our authority as a leader in hydration."
Only in May, the MiLi Moisture Meter comes as a gift with Oasis Hydrating Treatment and Oasis Ultra Hydrating Cream. Afterwards, it will be available for purchase as a bundle with the two products that are clinically proven to double hydration and keep it high for up to a day. H2O+ Beauty markets the meter as a tool to track the effectiveness of its products as well as to better tailor clients’ skincare routines to their skins’ profiles.
