Katie Price is back in the headlines, and this time, it’s all about her latest cosmetic tweak. The former glamour model recently reunited with longtime friend Kerry Katona, who couldn’t stop gushing about how “amazing” Katie looks post-surgery. But while Kerry is all for her friend’s refreshed appearance, not everyone is cheering from the sidelines.

In her weekly column, Kerry shared that she finally caught up with her “girl” Katie after a long time apart, and let’s just say, the compliments were flowing. “She is looking amazing right now, and we’re both feeling really great, which is nice to see,” Kerry wrote. The pair had a proper catch-up when Katie dropped off Kerry’s son Max, who has been working behind the scenes on her Pinocchio pantomime tour.
Life may be busy for both stars, but Kerry made it clear that more BFF time is on the horizon. “I plan to visit Katie soon so we can spend more time together,” she added.
Katie’s latest nip and tuck—reportedly her sixth facelift—was done in Istanbul this past January, just under a year after her previous £10,000 procedure. But for Katie, this wasn’t about going under the knife just for the sake of it. “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking. Well, they need tweaking,” she explained before heading into the operating room.
Post-op, she shared a selfie from her hospital bed, wrapped in bandages but seemingly unfazed by the process. If there’s one thing Katie has been consistent about, it’s her openness regarding cosmetic surgery. She’s admitted that she sees it as a form of self-improvement, though she also acknowledges the downsides.
While Katie has plenty of support from friends like Kerry, not everyone is on board. The topic of her repeated procedures has sparked debate, with some critics expressing concern about her frequent enhancements. Katie herself has compared her love for surgery to a shopping spree, candidly admitting, “People don’t realize when you have surgery, you only see the before and after. You don’t see the in-between: the pain, the cleaning, the stitches, the bed rest.”
She has also acknowledged the toll it takes on her body, having undergone countless procedures under anesthesia. Still, despite knowing the risks, she continues to pursue what she sees as her ideal look.
Interestingly, while Katie went for another facelift, Kerry was on the verge of doing the same until her kids intervened. After a corrective nose procedure last year, she considered going under the knife again in January but ultimately decided against it.
Her reason? Her eldest daughters were begging her not to do it. “They were saying, ‘Please don’t,’ and that massively impacted my decision,” she revealed. While she still admires the transformative power of cosmetic procedures, Kerry admitted, “The results are always amazing, but I’m just not there yet.”
Katie Price has never shied away from doing what makes her feel her best, whether that means another facelift or a bold new venture. But with each procedure, the conversation around cosmetic surgery, its benefits, risks, and societal pressures, continues to evolve.
