Was there a personal and/or professional experience that inspired you to open your practice?
I decided to open my own practice several years after my training was done because I realized how important it was for me to consider all of the details related to the patient experience. I wanted to have control over my patient's experience and to ensure that they were in a state-of-the-art facility and had the best care with amazing outcomes.
What was your mission at the start of opening your practice? Has it changed?
My mission has always been the ethical delivery of aesthetic treatments and surgeries for my patients. I have never been a salesperson and I always guide my patients into helping them achieve their aesthetic goals in a natural, safe, and predictable fashion. I customize all my recommendations based on my patients' desires, their expectations, and I always address any fears or obstacles they may have regarding those treatments.
If you had to pick three words to describe the vibe of your practice, what would they be and why?
If I had to pick three words to describe my practice, I would choose 'courteous, professional, and efficient' because I am committed to fostering a welcoming, proficient, and streamlined experience for all.

How did you come up with the name of your practice?
As I contemplated the name of my practice, I thought of the desires and aspirations of my patients. While 'Rejuven' encapsulates the essence of rejuvenation, I realized it merely scratches the surface of what my patients seek. It's a fascinating journey. Nearly a decade ago, I settled on 'Rejuva Medical Aesthetics.' However, reflecting on the evolving preferences of my clientele, a contemporary choice might lean towards 'Refresha.' Today, my patients prioritize a refreshed and natural appearance over chasing youth. It underscores the dynamic nature of aesthetics and our commitment to staying attuned to the evolving needs of those we serve.
What are the most popular services requested?
Within my practice, rhinoplasty stands as the cornerstone, representing approximately 70% of my surgical portfolio. Following closely behind is deep plane face and neck lifting. Meanwhile, in the non-surgical domain, injectable fillers reign supreme, constituting the primary service sought by our discerning clientele. Patients gravitate towards our practice for my adeptness in implementing these fillers, utilizing techniques that prioritize safety and the attainment of natural, harmonious results.
What is the future of your field?
The future of our field is happening now, and it involves regenerative aesthetics. We have been one of the pioneers in regenerative aesthetics with our advancements in platelet therapy (platelet-rich fibrin and albumin-rich fibrin), and technologies that combine low-intensity ultrasound with electrical field simulation, termed 'electrosonic resonance' (Cellsound). Stem cells are still being developed in the field of aesthetics, and hopefully, enough research will occur that we can utilize stem cells for both reconstructive and elective cosmetic procedures shortly.
What are you best known for?
I'm widely recognized for my trustworthiness. My patients consistently provide feedback affirming their confidence in me, knowing they can rely on my guidance without hesitation.

Are there any new services you are excited to offer?
I'm thrilled to introduce our latest innovation: Cellsound. Utilizing a combination of ultrasound and electrical fields, Cellsound stimulates tissue vibrations, fostering skin improvement and collagen enhancement without causing cellular damage. It signifies a pivotal step towards harnessing our body's innate regenerative capabilities. Whether it's harnessing platelets, and fat, or employing the laser-like vibrational forces of Cellsound, we're poised to usher in transformative changes in the field of aesthetics.
What is one underrated service that doesn’t receive as much press as it should be?
I believe lasers for the skin are extremely underrated. We have incredible lasers here, like the Scion HALO laser and the Picosure from Cynosure, which I would say produce some of the happiest outcomes that we see. Although we talk a lot about nonsurgical aesthetic treatments, I feel that there's just not as much discussion as there should be around these amazing lasers. One other service that most people don't know about yet is microneedling with cannabidiol. We discovered that cannabidiol, or CBD, has incredible anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects against active cystic acne. And when microneedling and cannabidiol topically are combined, it produces an incredible result in our acne patients.
