Introducing Daxxify, a new wrinkle-reducing neuromodulator that is touted to last longer that is revolutionizing the beauty industry. Get ready to be blown away by its unrivaled longevity, as clinical studies have shown that Daxxify can outlast its competitors, keeping you wrinkle-free for six months and potentially longer. Like other neuromodulators, Daxxify works its magic by blocking the release of a neurotransmitter, effectively reducing muscle contractions and smoothing out those pesky wrinkles. But what sets Daxxify apart is its proprietary stabilizing peptide, a closely guarded secret that ensures its effects surpass any other product on the market. With Daxxify, you're not just getting a temporary fix—this exceptional formula guarantees long-lasting results that will leave you looking and feeling incredible. Here to provide you with in-depth answers to all your burning questions about Daxxify is Haute Beauty expert Dr. Peter Andrade of Beautique Concierge.

What is the recommended dosage and injection technique for DAXXIFY?

As of now, Daxxify is FDA-approved to only treat frown lines however, similar to the other neurotoxins, clinicians are using Daxxify “off label” to treat other areas of the face for wrinkle reduction. The injection techniques with Daxxify are the same as with the other neuromodulators. Compared to conventional wrinkle reducers like Botox and Xeomin, Daxxify uses a different unit system to treat areas. The recommended dose of Daxxify to treat the frown lines is 40 units compared to 12-20 units with Botox and Xeomin.

How long does it take for DAXXIFY to take effect?

Patients are reporting that Daxxify is taking about two days to start working. According to the Sakura 1 and 2 clinical trials, results lasted on average about 6 months with some experiencing some wrinkle reduction up to nine months.

How safe and effective is DAXXIFY, particularly in comparison to other botulinum toxin products?

As detailed in the Sakura 1 and 2 clinical trials which tested 606 patients, no serious adverse effects were observed. The most common adverse effects that were reported were headaches and injection-site pain, which are similar to the other neurotoxins currently on the market. I would also recommend against the use of Daxxify when pregnant or breastfeeding as a precautionary measure since we don’t have any data on these patients. Expected results for wrinkle reduction averaged about 6 months with some patients experiencing results for up to nine months.

Are there any specific precautions or contraindications for using DAXXIFY?

Patients who have had a hypersensitivity reaction to Daxxify should not use the product. Furthermore, patients with rare neuromuscular diseases like Myasthenia gravis or ALS shouldn’t use any neuromodulators. I would also recommend not using Daxxify while pregnant or breastfeeding due to the lack of studies regarding these patients. Lastly, I would avoid any blood thinning medications prior to injection with Daxxify.

How frequently can a patient receive DAXXIFY injections?

This will differ from patient to patient, but it’s probably best to see how long your wrinkle-relaxing results last before re-injection. To be safe, I would recommend waiting 6 months with each Daxxify treatment.

Can DAXXIFY be combined with other cosmetic treatments?

Similar to the other neuromodulators on the market, I would say it’s ok to combine dermal fillers and laser treatments with Daxxify. If you wanted a touch up I would recommend waiting about two weeks to see the full wrinkle-reducing effects before re-injecting Daxxify.
