Greatest achievements:
- We had the distinct honor of being invited to provide medical care for multiple Olympic Games and we changed the way healthcare is offered in Miami.
- We had a patient that was not able to get pregnant because she was on too many medications for Crohn's disease. In three months, we were able to get her off her medications and 17 months later she delivered her first child.
The future of medicine?
Today's traditional medicine is reactive or sick care, not healthcare. Most people only go to the doctor when something is wrong. At Apprize Medicine, our doctors practice proactive preventive medicine to optimize your health. This is the future of medicine.
Biggest misconception of your field:
People believe they must travel outside of the United States to receive regenerative medicine or stem cell procedures. People also are not aware of everything they can do to optimize their health in order to prevent disease. Just because their doctors are not educated on proactive care, does not mean it is not extremely effective.
Most-requested procedures:
Regenerative Medical Biologic Procedures such as Stem Cell Injections to replace certain orthopedic surgeries are common at our office. We also have a Modern Medicine Membership program focused on improving health and digestive issues, proactive medicine, and weight loss.
Surgical advancements to be excited for?
What I am most excited about is actually preventing surgeries that are no longer necessary. For example, we have successfully treated and have not referred a patient for a medical meniscus surgery in over 10 years!
What are you best known for?
We are best known for improving the quality of our patients' lives. Our patients are successful. They are CEOs, celebrities, and successful entrepreneurs, but as they start to get into their 50s and 60s they cannot enjoy their success due to ill health. What is wealth without good health?

What new services are you excited to offer?
We are using Ozone Therapy and other natural agents via IV to increase oxygen levels in the body in order to decrease systemic inflammation. Inflammation is the root cause of most chronic degenerative diseases and arthritis in the body.
Most memorable patient reaction:
It was pretty amazing to witness our patients cross the finish line to win a gold medal at the Olympics and see their expressions of joy. It is just as satisfying to see a patient get back on the tennis court after undergoing a successful biologic procedure to avoid knee replacement.
What sets your practice apart?
Our practice consists of numerous providers that are leaders in their field and offer cutting solutions, all under one roof. We are interested and have been successfully treating patients in optimizing health, fighting obesity, preventing disease, and avoiding surgery.
What do you love most about your profession?
We have been practicing concierge and preventive medicine for the past 20 years. When we began, there was very little research in this area. In the past five years, there is now a plethora of scientific data to support what we have been offering to our patients that want to improve their overall quality of health, even if they do not have a disease.
Career-defining procedure?
I would say that there are a couple of procedures we offer that have taken our practice to new heights. The first is extracting biological agents from the patient's body and putting them through a unique processing system that allows us to re-inject the material into a joint to help heal orthopedic issues that otherwise would be surgical. Next, we love working with patients that are taking stomach medications such as PPIs and antacids. Our revolutionary gut health program we have been treating patients with for 20 years has helped thousands throw out their medications, fix their gut, and significantly improve the quality of their health.
