In a world where every detail matters, the same rule applies to the face. People are finally grasping that the face and neck must match and be treated together. The idea that the earlobes have to look plump and young is also slowly catching up. We need to stop focusing on separate areas of the face or the body and try to look at ourselves as  “whole” beautiful creatures where the skin is the largest organ. Every angle needs to be looked and appropriately assessed to look “the best” and youthful. If one cannot see it, then they must be lucky enough to find an expert and an artist who will help them look “impeccable” and the most natural because it all must match! Here Haute Beauty expert Dr. Anna Avaliani explains the ins and out's of earlobe rejuvenation.

Who is a candidate for earlobe rejuvenation?

An ideal candidate is someone who believes that their earrings look “sunken in” or “falling out” of the ear lobe. The youngest patient Dr. Avaliani treated was in her 30’s and the oldest was in her 80’s. Facelifts don’t plump ear lobes.

How long does earlobe rejuvenation take?

In the expert hands of Dr. Avaliani, the entire process is about 5 minutes.

How is non-surgical earlobe rejuvenation done?

Non-surgical earlobe rejuvenation is performed with the use of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane family to help restore the volume and plumpness while reducing the lines or wrinkles in the earlobes and immediately in front of them.

Does a non-surgical earlobe rejuvenation procedure hurt?

Dr. Avaliani is an expert and performs this procedure without the need for topical anesthesia or numbing cream, and it usually involves a few tiny injections into the earlobe.

Can one wear earrings after non-surgical earlobe rejuvenation?

It is advisable to avoid wearing jewelry for 24 hours post-procedure when there might be some swelling and can have minor discomfort.

What is the downtime after non-surgical earlobe rejuvenation?

Usually none. Just some minor swelling and or tenderness, but absolutely no physical restrictions are needed to be taken.
