Did you see who tied the knot this weekend? Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have had quite the whirlwind romance leading up to their wedding over the weekend. The two seemed eager for their wedding since the nuptials were initially planned to take place much earlier and were unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. Naturally, plenty of celebrities like Serena Williams, Gordon Ramsey, and more gathered in Palm Beach at her family’s estate to celebrate the lovely couple. The celebration went on for multiple days complete with shows by Marc Anthony and David Blaine.
Both families seemed excited leading up to the nuptials. Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to share her cute snaps of her family captioning the picture “An exciting weekend ahead of us!! Kisses from Miami.” The couple also shared quite a few pictures from the idyllic weekend looking madly in love.
As always Nicola Peltz was an absolute vision in her bridal look wearing a custom Valentino couture gown with a square neckline for her big day paired with lace gloves and a dramatic train. It was all in the details when it came to her look, her dress reportedly had an evil eye sewn into it to protect her throughout the special day to serve as her “something blue." On the other hand, Brooklyn and the rest of the Beckham boys were fitted in Dior suits for the occasion.
It’s All in The Details: Bridal Glam
Her hairstylist, Adir Abergel, who she has known for years revealed that the bridal inspiration was mainly drawn from German model Claudia Schiffer and the overall ‘90s supermodel style which has been very on-trend lately. This inspiration led to them doing a classic half-up half-down style with her hair, letting her bangs be the center of attention. Before the big day, her hair was prepped using the Virtue Restorative Treatment Mask which is said to enhance color while also moisturizing and smoothing the hair, which was needed since they took her hair a shade lighter. This along with hair oil and cream helped prep the actress’s hair before her blowout and styling. Abergel tells Vogue, “It was all about keeping her hair beautiful, soft, and smooth. Think luxe, polished texture, but with fullness and movement to it.”
Similar to her hair, Peltz leaned towards an all things classic makeup look. Granted, she already has a fantastic base for her makeup with her effortlessly glowing skin, thanks to the 111 SKIN Celestial Diamond Eye Masks that she and Beckham generations frequently use. This dazzling mask is an ageless way of prepping your skin, which Beckham took advantage of before getting her makeup done by Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee.
One product that was heavily incorporated into her glam is the Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow Stick in the shade ‘Pearlescent'. This versatile product can be used on the face, eyes, and lips creating a subtle dewy look. Her eye makeup was simple but dramatic with plenty of highlights placed on the inner corners of her eyes, drawing more attention to her piercing eyes. The glowing makeup certainly ties in the ‘90s supermodel aesthetic her glam team was working to recreate, pairing perfectly with her side-swept bangs.
