Are you sick and tired of looking at your saggy skin but aren't ready for the real deal facelift, neck lift, eyelid lift, or browlift procedures? Then you are the ideal candidate to undergo a facial tightening procedure. BodyTite, FaceTite, NeckTite and Morpheus8 are all minimally invasive options for refreshing your skin.

Haute Beauty sits down with Haute Beauty Expert, Mark G. Albert M.D., F.A.C.S. to review what each option entails, the benefits and terms of recovery for ridding yourself of saggy skin.

What is FaceTite? What is NeckTite?

FaceTite and NeckTite are essentially the same. Miniscule incisions are created for a probe to go underneath the skin to deliver the radiofrequency waves and then fluid is removed afterward via a process similar to liposuction. This radiofrequency energy results in skin tightening. I usually perform Morpheus8 at the same time so that radiofrequency is applied beneath the skin and on top of the skin as well. For FaceTite and NeckTite, these involve pinpoint openings under the chin and at the earlobe, only so there’s minimal chance of scarring.

Featured above is one of the more recent patients I did NeckTite and Morpheus8 on. In the span of 24 hours, she was on her way out to dinner! The procedure involves minimal swelling and bruising that will usually last less than five days. Any discomfort usually resolves within 24 hours and can be treated with Tylenol with no need for narcotic medications.

What is BodyTite?

BodyTite is similar to FaceTite however it’s meant for larger surface areas. This is a way to get a breast lift without scars, tightening of abdominal skin without a tummy tuck and this is how! It can also be applied to thighs instead of a thigh lift. I’ve seen great results around the knees as well.

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a combination of radiofrequency and aggressive Microneedling. The unique thing about it is that the needles are longer than any other device that I know of. Shorter needles are used on sensitive and delicate areas like the face and larger needles are used on the abdomen breast back, etc. For Morpheus, the recommended treatments are once every month for three sessions.

The downtime for Morpheus8 is minimal, and patients can feel results immediately after the procedures and for years post-treatment. Very minimal bruising is uncommon and when it happens it usually resolves in a few days. There is no swelling involved and there will be mild redness for a day.

Similarities & differences between procedures?

The similarities are that both Morpheus and the ”-tite” procedures deliver radiofrequency energy to tighten skin. The main difference is that the Morpheus goes through the skin via Microneedling while “-tite” procedures involve pinpoint openings and the probe is slipped just underneath the skin.
