Quite a few celebrities can pull off the extraordinary, break-the-internet type of pregnancy reveal, but Cardi B just became one of them. At the 2021 BET Awards in Los Angeles, the 28-year-old artist — who was nominated for five awards — made a surprise appearance during rap trio Migos’ set to perform in a crystal-embellished Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit featuring a sheer panel that highlighted her baby bump.
Beaming brightly, Cardi B lit up the crowd with her husband Offset — a member of Migos with whom she reconciled in November of last year after some time apart — as they posed on stage post-performance to flaunt their second pregnancy following their first in 2018, which welcomed their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus. Of course, host Taraji P. Henson needed to add: “Cardi B and Offset, giving up life—literally.”

In her typically bold fashion, Cardi B continued her grandiose announcement by posting several gorgeous images to her Instagram and Twitter accounts showing off her baby bump. One image reveals her and her daughter Kulture wearing matching white headdresses. “I just know these two will love each other so much and argue so much since they’re three years apart,” she wrote in the caption. “But one thing for sure is they’ll have each other’s back like no one else ever will.”
Kulture already wows her mother’s social media following with her lavish style and upbeat personality, so we’re confident Cardi B’s second child will also shine among the stylish babies and toddlers of the entertainment industry.
