This procedure utilizes a tiny camera and specialized instruments to perform the surgery through a few very small incisions. This in turn minimizes discomfort and allows for a rapid recovery. This procedure does require significant skills and experience on part of the surgeon, in addition to investment into specialized cameras, monitors, and instruments.
The aging process affects the brow and eyelids at the same time. In some patients, it is more important to correct the saggy brow then to remove excess skin in the upper eyelids. This correction has a powerful rejuvenating effect; the patients look much younger, more energetic, and completely natural.

These patients present with heavy eyebrow tissue that contribute to the heaviness that they see and feel in their upper eyelids. In some patients, an endoscopic brow lift is done in combination with upper eyelid surgery.
There are a few other methods of performing a brow lift; from so-called “open” brow lift to a “mini” brow lift. These procedures leave a scar, can take longer to heal, and can leave the patient with significant numbness. On the other hand, the endoscopic brow lift allows for most versatility with minimal downside. Most patients have minimal bruising and swelling. The endoscopic brow lift is done on outpatient bases and our patients typically return to normal activity in about a week.
