The Macedo experience: Our unique protocol provides us to over-deliver every single time
Dr. Roberto Macedo is the new generation of specialists, a prosthodontist, a true smile designer. He brings an energetic collaborative approach that applies to each of his patient’s dental needs and desires. Dr. Macedo is a prosthodontist who specializes in tooth replacement and restoration. He has over 20 years of experience providing high-end cosmetic dentistry for satisfied patients. He is proud to be a third-generation dental specialist and feels his high standards are a direct result of being involved in all aspects of dentistry from a very young age. FIRST APPOINTMENT
Dr. Macedo and team will spend quality time listening to what you have to say; we want to know your needs and desires. A series of specific pictures are taken in a professional setting along with custom digital molds. Dr. Macedo then takes the molds, pictures and the info from the interview with the patient into consideration and creates and designs your new dream smile.
The best part about this unique step along with our in-office lab allows him to design a one of a kind smile that the patient can “test drive” (mock-up) in their own mouth.
SECOND APPOINTMENT
In the vast majority of the cases, Dr. Macedo actually places the mock-up of your new smile in your mouth without ever using a drill as to not disturb the tooth integrity until the patient is satisfied with the new look.
Now that you witness how your new smile can be, you could have the veneers prepped right away or return as soon as the next day to have the veneers prepped and the final digital impression and the prototype (temporaries) placed.
Upon approval of you new smile, we utilize technology and skills to duplicated the pre-approval smile design, this extra step provides certainty that you are having the exact design you previously approved reducing stress and eliminating guesswork.
The procedure is minimally invasive with very little tooth structure touched. Dr. Macedo fabricates the temporaries himself to ensure that you leave this appointment looking better than when you first came in.
THIRD APPOINTMENT
During this final appointment, the temporary veneers are removed, and the patient receives their new permanent custom Macedo Smile.
1 YEAR FOLLOW-UP
Veneers, if treated properly, should look and feel great for up to 15 years after their placement. Most patients forget they have them after a month or so because facial muscles adapt to the new teeth and make them look more natural than the day they were put in
