Dr. Hisham Seify & Dr. Sahar Lashin
Dr. Hisham Seify is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). Dr. Seify graduated from Cairo University with honors in 1992. He spent 13 years in post-graduate training, earning a Master’s Degree, a Ph.D. and board certification in plastic surgery. He finished his plastic surgery Fellowship at Emory University in 2005. He furthered his surgical training with a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine in addition to being in private practice in Newport Beach CA. Newport Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Associates, Prestige Surgery Center and LaBoutique Medspa were established in 2006 to offer a comprehensive practice for all plastic surgery procedures under one roof.
Dr. Seify has published a wide range of scientific articles, a medical book, and medical textbooks chapters on the subject of plastic surgery. He has lectured and presented scientific papers nationally and overseas. Since 2008, he has been a visiting professor and guest speaker to hospitals overseas to perform surgeries on both civilians and veterans. Dr. Seify is the Winner of the 2007 prestigious Sherrell Aston Award form the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). He is the winner of the 2013-2019 Orange County Physicians of Excellence award as well as being the winner of the 2012- 2019 US News Top Doctors In America award by Castle Connolly and US News. He is the immediate past president of the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as being an active member of the California Society Organizing Committee and the American Society CME Committee. He has also been the chairman of the Board of ECN, a non-profit for cancer, since 2011.
Dr. Sahar Lashin was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt. At an early age, Dr. Lashin had undergone intensive training in several medical disciplines in Cairo, Egypt. She received her first medical degree in 1992 from the Cairo University. Followed by Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Endemic Medicine, Tropical Medicine, Interventional Endoscopy and Interventional Abdominal Ultrasound. She served as Associate Professor of Medicine at Cairo University for 14 years.
Dr. Lashin was a postdoctoral research fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas then completed her Internal Medicine residency at the Sinai Grace Hospital, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Lashin then obtained her Board certification in Internal Medicine. Dr. Lashin was later on certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is also certified by the Swiss Biological Medicine Academy in Switzerland. Dr. Lashin is also a certified trainer in Ethics of International Medical Research by the University of Maryland and has a Cambridge Diploma for Teachers and Trainers issued by Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
