What is PiXel8-RF and how does it work?
We’ve always known that controlled injuries in the skin lead to new collagen formation which makes the skin look tighter and younger. So we have two technologies that we’ve had in place for a long time. One of them is micro-needling; micro-needling is a system that you can create little channels in the skin and those little channels stimulate collagen formation to tighten. The other one is Radio Frequency. Radio Frequency is a way of delivering energy to the skin that will cause it to tighten, we now have a device that combines both of those technologies together. Once the needles go under the skin they emit a current of Radio Frequency energy, it causes a tightening that you can’t get without either of the two energies combined so it is a really amazing technology
What does the PiXel-RF machine treat?
The skin conditions that PiXel-RF can address include: skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, acne scars, skin tone and texture improvement, pore size, scars, stretch marks, double chins, jowl lifting, eyebrow lifting, neck lifting, and hand rejuvenation. PiXel-RF can also treat the arms, thighs, and abdomen.
What does recovery look like?
The procedure is not painful. It's done with no anesthesia just creme and some cold air. It is very well tolerated with very little recovery.
