Halloween Costume Inspo: Celebrity Edition

With Halloween fast approaching, is your costume all set? Celebrities tend to take a “go big or go home” approach to dressing up, whether letting their makeup or scantily-clad bodies take center stage—and we can’t wait to see the looks that get trotted out this year. If you still haven’t settled on your costume for 2017, let these celebrity looks from Halloweens past serve as inspiration, and forget to say, “Trick or treat!”

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian as a skeleton (2014)
With flawlessly executed costumes that have included a pirate, mermaid, Catwoman and cheetah (all super-sexy, of course), Kim is never a Halloween disappointment. This skeleton look showed off all of her assets, and the makeup was perfectly on-point. Interested in recreating this look yourself? Check out this tutorial.

Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian as “Storm” from X-Men (2016)
Practically unrecognizable as a silver-dipped superhero, Khloe turned to hairstylist Justine Marjan and celebrity makeup artist Hrush Achemyan for last year’s next-level look. But with a possibly burgeoning baby bump this year, it will be interesting to see her costume, if she steps out to celebrate at all.

Jenna Dewan

Jenna Dewan Tatum as a unicorn (2016)
From magical Frappucinos to fantasy-esque alternatives to avocado toast, unicorns are taking over the world (or Instagram, at least). Jenna Dewan Tatum hopped on this mystical trend train for Halloween last year, with pastel hair, body jewels and sparkle for days. The Tatums celebrated early this year, with Jenna stepping out as a fairy for their daughter’s Halloween carnival this past weekend.

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian as a dead bride (2016)
Whether a nod to her on-again-off-again relationship with Scott Disick, Kourtney turned heads last Halloween in a super-sexy bride get-up complete with thigh-highs, garters and blood dripping from the corner of her mouth. With haunting red eyes to match, this costume was a departure from past Power Ranger and Wonder Woman costumes, and if the pregnancy rumors are true, who knows what we’ll see this year.

Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum as Jessica Rabbit (2015)
It’s no secret that Heidi Klum takes Halloween very seriously, and her annual bash is one of the most anticipated fall events on the celebrity circuit. Last year she hit the red carpet with five spot-on look-alikes and she also transformed into a 90-year-old version of herself the year she turned 40, but her rendition of Jessica Rabbit (with face and body prosthetics) will go down in Halloween history.

Gig Hadid

Gigi Hadid as “Sandy” from Grease (2015)
Everyone loves Gigi Hadid, and everyone loves Grease, so this was a Halloween match made in heaven. From the curls and red lipstick to the spandex and crop top, this costume was so close to the original that we thought she was Olivia Newton John (in 1978, that is).
