It is very exciting to share this month, I'm launching on my website, an entire area dedicated to my expertise in computer-designed manufacturing (CAD/CAM) not only for traumatic cranial defects, but now for aesthetic beauty.
For 20 plus years I have been using CAD/CAM for mainly post-traumatic cranial reconstructing skulls. Now more exciting than ever, for the past 5 years or so, I have been using this technique for cranio-fascial plastic surgery and this is the most advanced sophisticated form of plastic surgery available to human beings at this time.
I will be featuring my work and this profoundly advanced technique for others to learn from and to help educate the community of my breakthrough treatment. I have completed already at least 100 procedures and those 100 patients who have benefited from my expertise can each and every one communicate and share positive results as well as magnificent feedback. I have been using my custom-designed implants with cheek bones, chins, jaws. The average age of my patients who have benefited from this ranges from 20 to 50. And I'm seeing my technique being used more and more for beauty, which is called orthognathic surgery.
This type of surgery refers to jaw surgery where people have needed to fix their bite. The treatment is not covered by insurance and depending on what is done can range from $10K to $20K per procedure. It is hard to give a specific cost because procedures vary and are different case to case. I invite my readers to go to the procedure link on my website and also to look at my facial implants section. I write a lot about cosmetic reconstructive surgery and am considered a leader in the industry.
In fact, I have lectured on this topic all around the world and have some exciting news to share as relates to the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons when the time is right! Yet, for now, I can share that in September 2017, I'm speaking in Newport, Rhode Island, the details of which can be found on my website, and then again I'm returning to Moscow in December 2017 to speak before several hundred people on implants and the advances I have made with CAD/CAM.
Please see the section on my website called, Refining Post-orthognathic Surgery Facial Contour with Computer Designed/Computer Manufactured (CAD/CAM) Implants as it is an exciting section to share with my patients, students and fans! Also, coming in January 2018, I will be giving a lecture on orthognathic surgery so stay tuned for more!
