2017’s Best Celebrity Wedding Makeup (So Far)

Wedding season isn’t over just yet, and though tight-lipped about specific dates, a slew of celebs including Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Kate Upton and Brie Larson will reportedly be saying their "I do’s” before year-end. But in terms of bridal beauty, 2017 hasn’t disappointed, and here’s a closer look at this year’s most major looks—and how you can recreate them for yourself.

Kerr

The bride: Miranda Kerr
When model Miranda Kerr wed SnapChat CEO Evan Spiegel in a custom Dior Haute Couture gown at the couple’s Brentwood, California home, it was an intimate affair with beauty at every turn—including the bride herself, natch. Miranda even took the guesswork out of deciphering her bridal makeup with this Vogue.com video, which shows the bride-to-be taking her wedding-day look for a test-drive.

Face: Miranda’s flawless, glowing complexion was created with Suqqu foundation, RMS Beauty’s “Un” Cover-Up, M.A.C. Blot Powder/Pressed and La Prairie Radiance Cellular Cream Blush in “Rose Glow.”

Eyes: After adding a touch of La Prairie blush to her lids, Miranda used Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eye Colour in “Golden Peach” on her lids and lower lashline. To finish the look, she used Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes mascara and Glossier’s Boy Brow.

Lips: In true model fashion, Miranda created her own wedding-worthy lip color by mixing Charlotte Tilbury’s “Walk of Shame” and “Amazing Grace” lipsticks, and added extra shine with Dior Addict Lip Glow Color Reviver Balm.

Julianne Hough

The bride: Julianne Hough
The Dancing with the Stars alum wouldn’t have imagined walking down the aisle without a little help from longtime makeup artist (and BFF) Spencer Barnes, who focused on Julianne’s lashes, brows and lips—and shared some of the products he used to achieve her naturally stunning wedding look.

Face: EMK Beverly Hills Rescue Serum was used as a hydrating, plumping base before Koh Gen Do Aqua Foundation Illuminator in "Sheer Beige". Barnes then used Lord & Berry Luminizer to enhance Julianne’s gorgeous glow.

Eyes: To keep the look clean and simple, Barnes applied Beauty By Piret Eye Silk in "Naked" as a base, and used Lord & Berry’s Scuba Pro Mascara for full, fluttery (tear-resistant) lashes.

Lips: Julianne changed up her look over the course of the evening, so Barnes used Nude Envie “Perfect” Shade Lip Pencil with Lord & Berry’s Matte Crayon Lipstick in “Adorable” for the first few hours before switching to Buxom Cosmetics Plumpline Lip Liner in “Dolly Danger” and “Confidential” later in the evening.

Pippa

The bride: Pippa Middleton
The world waited with baited breath before Pippa walked down the aisle with hedge-fund hubby-to-be James Matthews, perhaps to get a glimpse of a certain royal bridesmaid. Her classic custom Giles Deacon lace gown was both stunning and demure, and her makeup wasn’t much of a departure from her usual minimal look. Though the product details have yet to be confirmed, it’s been reported that Bobbi Brown makeup artist Hannah Martin was on hand at least for the wedding party, and it’s been said that Martin also had a hand in big sister Kate’s bridal makeup as well. Based on photographs alone (and no official confirmation), these picks can help you recreate Pippa’s natural wedding look.

Face: Pippa is no stranger to self-tanning, so go for the glow with a gradual product that helps you control the level of color. Try James Read H2O Tan Mist for the perfect mix of hydration and golden glow.

Cheeks: A pop of pink is all it takes to achieve blushing-bride status, and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in “Ethereal Glow” delivers the perfect flush and flash of radiance..

Eyes: The bride went for low-key eyes (devoid of heavy eyeliner) with matte neutral eyeshadows, and Tarte’s Tartlette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette has all the shades you need to create your own wedding-worthy look.

Lips: When it was time to kiss the bride, Pippa was wearing a light pinkish-nude meant to look like her natural lips (but better).
