After a successful series of testing of the hull and propellers, The Utopia, a $1.1 billion residential cruise ship, is one step closer to completion.

The Utopia is being built in conjunction with Samsung Heavy Industries and Utopia Residences. Once complete, it will be the most luxurious ship in the entire world. It will house 200 residences ranging in size from 1,420 to 6,600 square feet. It will also include a boutique hotel with more than 200 rooms, a casino, a 16,000 square-foot spa, night club, swimming pool, deck with private cabanas, three signature restaurants, and much more.

This Saturday, Oct. 30, join Loren Ridinger, Eva Longoria Parker, and Haute Living for the launch of the Loren Jewels collection at London Jewelers. Mingle with New York’s finest while getting an exclusive preview of the Loren Jewels collection. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly towards the Rally for Kids with Cancer Foundation.

On Thursday, Oct. 28, chef and star of “24-Hour Restaurant Battle” on the Food Network Scott Conant celebrated the opening of Scarpetta, his new restaurant at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

On Friday, Oct. 15, more than 400 shoppers flocked to the St. Regis San Francisco for the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund’s (BCEF) This Old Bag: The Power of the Purse. This annual charity shopping event sells handbags and other fashion accessories donated by high-fashion designers, celebrities and retail stores to raise money for low-income women with breast cancer.
