Phillips de Pury and Company is an art gallery in New York City that auctions contemporary art in forms of design, photographs and jewelry. In collaboration with Giorgio Armani, the gallery hosted a reception last night that brought together artists in every form.

The BCBG Spring/Summer 2012 runway show was held this morning at 10:30am at Lincoln Center. The collection stayed true to the classic BCBG design aesthetic that is always clean and simple. Following BCBG and with a similar geometric inspiration, Richard Chai’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection was full of structure, prints, and layering.

Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Beyonce, Adele, Chris Brown, Pitbull and Ne-Yo all sharing the same stage in one night provides for an evening of musical genius and exhilarating performances. I experienced this first hand last night at the MTV Video Music Awards.

As my journey came to a close, I was enthralled by the dreamy cities of Monte Carlo and St. Tropez.
