Swimwear designer and IMG model, Tori Praver, brought Miami a fresh and colorful line, titled Ventus Scopis or “wind swept,” at The Webster this past Saturday alongside owner Laure Heriard-Dubreuil. Guests were showered with cocktails by AKVINTA vodka while the vibrations of DJ Jauretsi filled the room with energy.

Thousands of people cheered as former world heavyweight boxing champion, Olympic gold-medalist and Haute 100 Miami lister, Lennox Lewis, carried the Olympic torch through Danson Park in Bexley.

Day Two in the Mercedes-Benz “Haute Seat” was a wet one. While Saturday was bright and breezy, Miami’s oh-so-unpredictable weather kicked in and delivered hours of torrential storms. But although the rain did present a bit of a challenge, we were still able to chat up the King of Swim, Red Carter, in the back of the Benz while he shared exciting news about an upcoming outerwear collection. We also got a chance to hang with the girls from Lee + Lani, Lisa Marie and Alana, whose career as models themselves has helped shape their stellar swimwear collection.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim is one of our favorite weeks of the year. It’s when trendsetters and tastemakers come together to celebrate the beauty in bikinis, beachwear and the stellar backdrop of the occasion, the magical city of Miami. And this year, we couldn’t be more thrilled to be collaborating with Mercedes-Benz to conduct interviews in the back seat of one of their most luxurious models.

Last night, while Collins Avenue was flooded with international visitors in town for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, the SLS South Beach hosted one of the most well-attended soirees of the night.

The Mansions at Acqualina, a luxury residential resort, hosted the launch of Vogue Brasil last week. The party was in celebration of the first edition of the magazine to be published in the US and Brazil.

Australian swimwear designer Lisa Blue is back for her third year at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, and the anticipation for this year’s show is high. The collection is inspired by the Year of the Dragon, with bold accents and stellar cuts that allow women to feel beautiful in their suits.

Perry Ellis, the brand internationally known for quality men’s and women’s apparel, fragrance and accessories, will turn a new leaf this upcoming season with a redesigned brand identity inspired by the “legacy of its namesake designer and his spirit of optimism and modern wit.”
