Cities Dubai, the UAE’s pioneering art and design concept store hosted an intimate launch event last week for its second in-store solo exhibition entitled Undo, Move, Construct, Repeat. Of particular note was an installation by Lebanese designer Nayef Francis.

On 28 May, Seddiqi Holding unveiled Swiss Watch Services, the Middle East’s largest and most comprehensive customer care center for timepieces. With expertise in servicing over 60 watch brands and 200,000 spare parts in stock, the Swiss Watch Services’ staff of 59 professionals, are trained at the highest level of horology care and complications, reducing the need for collectors to send their prized timepieces abroad for service.

On 28 May, Swiss watchmaker BOMBERG, known for unconventional and bold designs, along with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, unveiled its 2015 novelties to the region: BOLT-68. At a sporty launch event held at Round 10 Boxing Club in Dubai, invited guests witnessed athletes wearing novelty watches including the highlight of the collection, BOLT-68 Falcon, during the martial arts and boxing show.

On 20 May, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach and the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children together hosted a charitable afternoon tea at the beachside resort. The Foundation, which aims to alleviate violence against women and children through protection, prevention and promotion, is the first licensed non-profit shelter in the UAE.

On 12 May, honorary guests Carolina Herrera and her daughter Carolina Herrera de Baez celebrated the launch of HERRERA CONFIDENTIAL, the most exclusive collection of perfumes from the House of Herrera in Dubai.

Jumeirah Group has unveiled the name for its newest hotel scheduled to open during 2016: the Jumeirah Al Naseem, which will operate as part of the Madinat Jumeirah resort complex in Dubai.

Originally established in 1973, Al Manara International Jewellery has celebrated its third anniversary since its acquisition by Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the largest distributor of Swiss Brand Watches in Middle East and HAMG, a private investment company.
