However, the Australian trio behind Eveleigh on Sunset, Nick Mathers, Nick Hatsatouris and Lincoln Pilcher will indeed be opening Goldie’s, a new local, California-style eatery. The location has not yet been confirmed but all arrows point to West Hollywood as the place of choice.

Thanks to a unanimous vote on Tuesday, the John Anson Ford Theatre in Cahuenga Pass will undergo a $9.75 million improvement. Based on the vote, the project’s funds were approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

On Sunday, the South Korean pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin agreed to a six-year deal worth $36 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The deal had to be made by 2 p.m. PST by the team and Ryu or else the team would have been refunded $25.7 million for the fee the Dodgers had paid for exclusive rights to negotiate with the left-hander. Also, without the agreement being met Ryu would have returned home.
