Well, according to WWD article, partner Marcus Wainwright, along with designer and co-founder David Neville made their decision based on parking.

As of next month, the Dorothy dress also known as Judy Garland’s original costume from “The Wizard of Oz” will be up for auction, according to celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien. “The Wizard of Oz” was first released in 1939 with a star-studded cast that wore some of the most creative designed costumes, especially Judy Garland’s blue gingham dress and white puff-sleeved blouse.
