There is a lot to do here in Vegas for entertainment and fun, here is a re-cap of what’s been happening over the past week and what you can look forward to this upcoming weekend. March 2nd marked the National Education Association’s annual ‘Read Across America Day’ and it also commemorated beloved child’s author, Dr. Seuss’ birthday. NBC/Universal chose to also release their rendition film of ‘The Lorax’ the same week based on the writers famous picture book. The movie saw record numbers, pulling in over $70 million for the weekend in sales making it the highest grossing box-office open for a film this year.

The House of Blues was filled with anticipation on Friday night, February 17, 2012 waiting for headliner to come on and perform. The venue was surprisingly large, with not one, but two bars inside where mixing and pouring drinks for thousands of awaiting fans was the prelude to the night before the dawning of The Darkness.
