On Sunday, Feb. 27 the Biscayne Lady yacht made South Beach Wine & Food Festival history when it hosted Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink Brunch while floating the pristine waters of Miami’s own Biscayne Bay. The two-hour tour set sail at 11:30 a.m. and was helmed by none other than James Beard Award-Winning Chef Michael Schwartz, pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith, and culinary legend Jonathon Waxman of New York City’s Barbuto.

On Saturday, as part of the Food & Wine Festival, a tribute dinner was held in honor of Alain Ducasse, famed master of Provencal cooking methods and bringing powerful and far-reaching influence on contemporary cooking and dining.

The delicious and renown Forge Restaurant in Miami Beach will host its second Wine Dinner Series, which includes a six-course meal and delicious wine. The Wine Dinner Series, originating in New York’s Greenwich Village, is a perfect combination of chef Dewey LoSasso’s gourmet dishes and Joseph Phelps’ wine selection. Taking place during the 2011 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival at 7:30 p.m., this event costs $125 a person (excluding tax and service fees).

While much of Miami was gearing up for the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival, on Wednedsay, Feb. 23, The W South Beach Hotel & Residences, Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour and ABEST (The Association of Brazilian Fashion Designers) instead all joined forces to host a one of a kind, vivacious Brazilian swimwear fashion show.

As the 2011 South Beach Wine & Food Festival continues to delight foodies everywhere with fun-filled events and delectable food prepared by some of the best chefs in the world, The Setai South Beach will be hosting Dim Sum & Disco tonight, February 26th, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.
