Haute Living San Francisco Now Online

We launched Haute Living San Francisco in January 2009, and, since that time, we have been compiling our Haute 100 list for the Bay Area. These are our picks for the region’s most important entrepreneurs, thinkers, entertainers, creators, philanthropists, socialites, power couples, and, of course, billionaires. We will be highlighting members of our Haute 100 cover story each day on HauteLiving.com in the coming weeks. We also took this opportunity to go more in depth with some of these leaders of the San Francisco community, like the NFL’s all-time greatest receiver, Jerry Rice.

We’ve Got Your Hollywood Parties for the Weekend

On Saturday night, Hollywood will roll out the red carpets once again for the Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Dinner and Awards at the Hyatt Century Plaza, where Portia de Rossi is slated to receive the “HRC Visibility Award” and Kathy Griffin will accept the “Ally for Equality Award.” On Sunday, Kevin and Steffiana James are hosting a Sunday funday like no other for the children of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where the Santa Monica Pier will be closed for a celebrity celebration.

More Red-Carpet Roll Outs for the Miami International Film Festival

Following up on this year of fun, the Magic City is inundated right now with everything new from the worlds of film and fashion. On March 5, film buffs celebrated the opening night of the 27th Annual Miami International Film Festival at the historic Gusman Center for the Performing Arts in downtown. The honor of the opening night film went to Looking for Eric, directed by Ken Loach and starring Manchester United’s Eric Cantona. Also stealing the spotlight at the film festival was the world premiere of the “Night of Hope” screening series on March 9 from writer/director/producer Moe Charif.

More Reasons to Love Louis

Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami for another round of a vibrant and playful collection for women. The newest project called Cosmic Blossom will present Murakami’s floral patterns that Louis Vuitton officially described as “fun, frivolous, and cute,” and then followed that up with a description of the palette as, “gorgeously, girly shades.” A bit of a departure for a brand that many consider as the pinnacle of serious fashion. In an official press release, LV says of the collection, “It’s impossible not to smile…” Check it out for yourself and let us know if you’re grinning from ear to ear.
