Haute Scene: Grand Opening of Jimmy Choo in Union Square
Sloan Barnett, Carol Bonnie, Maggie Rizer, Mehran, and Brit Morin hosted the grand opening of Jimmy Choo’s new Union Square boutique, an event in support of the California Pacific Medical Center. The opening, which saw the launch of the Rob Pruitt Collection, was attended by Bay Area lovelies like Alexis Traina, Vanessa Getty, Sonya Molodetskaya, Victoire Brown, Vandy Boudreau, Kathryn Lasater, Suzanne Levit and Heidi Castelein.

Haute Scene : The Grand Opening of Hakkasan
Hakkasan is a chic, sultry haven for contemporary Chinoiserie and fine Chinese dining. Finally, a San Francisco haunt where guests can dress to impress! This is the new spot for VIPs, power players and dealmakers – and of course, everyone wanting to enjoy modern Cantonese cuisine and dim sum from Michelin-starred Chef Ho Chee Boon. The grand opening party was attended by nearly 500 notables, including Didier Souillat (COO of Hakkasan), Tom Perkins, Willie Brown, Restoration Hardware CEO Gary Friedman and Popchips CEO Keith Belling. Dragon dancers, a station featuring Peking duck with caviar, signature Hakkasan dishes and inventive cocktails added to the allure of the evening.

Wilkes Bashford hosted a reception celebrating the San Francisco Ballet to honor past auxiliary chairs. Guests were excited to walk through the doors of the newly reopened San Francisco location to see all seven floors of its townhouse-inspired design. Wilkes Bashford has always been renowned for his impeccable eye and unsurpassed customer service, defining Bay Area style for close to 50 years. One hundred percent of the evening’s proceeds went to benefit the SF Ballet.

Chef Joshua Skenes of Saison
Chef Joshua Skenes of Saison has come a long way from his experimental pop-up in 2009. With sommelier and co-owner Mark Bright, Skenes mastered his way into Saison’s first brick and mortar in San Francisco’s Mission district within one year. His 12-24 course menu and unconventional cooking method – drawing flavors through the use of fire – earned a number of accolades, including Michelin’s two-star rating in 2012 and 2013.
