Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco celebrated opening of its new Max Mara Boutique with an event benefiting the San Francisco Opera Guild. Guests shopped the Spring 2013 Max Mara collection and viewed Laura Morton’s documentary photography collection featuring select works form the past Opera Balls. Max Mara donated ten percent of sales from that night to the Opera Guild.

Guests gathered at the home of Komal Shah and Gaurav Garg’s for a pre-opening Gala Celebration for the Asian Art Museum’s exhibition China’s Terracotta Warriors: The Emperor’s First Legacy. Dior hosted the event and presented their beautiful Spring-Summer 2013 collection to guests. Museum Director, Jay Xu, remarked that the wonderful collection was a perfect match to the eighth ‘wonder of the world’, the Terracotta Warriors, which will be on display throughout the exhibition.
