Haute Event: Spinsters of San Francisco Fall Charity Party Fleet or Flight

The Spinsters of San Francisco kicked off their 81st year with the much-anticipated Fleet or Flight Oct. 11 at Supperclub. More than 300 tickets were sold to benefit the City of Dreams.

Attendees arrived in festive aeronautical and nautical attire to share their support for at-risk youth in the local community while honoring one of San Francisco’s most celebrated traditions. True military men and women were welcomed with discounted entrance. Legendary DJ Ms. Jackson had guests moving on the dance floor after many had dined in Supperclub’s white beds.

The event, that raised thousands of dollars for City of Dreams, was a memorable bookend to San Francisco’s annual Fleet Weekend. Spinsters of SF board of directors: Liz Brusca (president), Ashley Hayes (vice president), Katie Hansen (secretary), Katie Faulkner (treasurer), Ashli Hollars (membership director), Kelly Chrisman (charity director), Jessica Halper (committee director). The event was organized by vice president Ashley Hayes, and charity party co-chairs Vanessa Grunder, Alexandra Hoffman and Wendi Palmer.
