Lions, tigers and bears oh my! Get ready to party for a great cause as Jazzoo Atlanta returns September 25 to much fanfare and anticipation. Enjoy all the food, fun, spirits and music as you party the night away to benefit Zoo Atlanta and the city’s underprivileged schools. Now in its third year, it keeps getting better with age and this time everything is bigger. Who would have ever thought that the perfect Saturday night would include some of Atlanta’s biggest animals…party animals, that is.

Orchestrated by Vantage Realty Partners in 2008, Jazzoo is a Southern spin-off of an annual fundraiser held in Kansas City for the last twenty years. Based on that event’s massive success (it raised over $1.1 million for the Kansas City Zoo in 2008) Vantage Realty decided it was the perfect endeavor to bring to Atlanta. This year an astounding 100% of the profits from Jazzoo go directly to disadvantaged children and schools in the Atlanta area by providing free admission and field trips.

11 Alive anchor Karyn Greer serves as one of the emcees and popular radio personality Jenn Hobby of Q100 is an honorary co-chair. The star wattage of these two is enough to bring out the city’s best to participate, and boy does it ever. No doubt that this year the hottest restaurants are apart of the festivities. Of the 30 restaurants included, P’cheen, Dantanna’s, Bocado, Six Feet Under and Tin Lizzy’s are just a few in the long list of eateries eager to have their food apart of such a worthy event.

Before, during or after dinner, head over to one of the 20 (yes, 20) open bars mixing specialty cocktails and top shelf concoctions by request. After a couple of drinks, we all feel like hitting the dance floor and Jazzoo has hot live band The Breakfast Club ready to keep you on your feet until your toes go numb.
