The ban gave the cigar bars a 10 year grace period in which they could continue to operate, with an opportunity to file for an extension at the end of the 10 years. So, if a cigar bar is a must for you, support the few sanctioned spaces for indoor public smoking in the other-wise smoke free City of Boston while you can.
