Dubai’s 2026 Michelin Stars Are Here: See the Full List, Including the Homegrown Hit That Just Made History
The full MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2026 list: Trèsind Studio and FZN keep three stars, Orfali Bros earns two, and Birch and KIGO debut.
Dubai’s most coveted reservations just got fresh competition. The fifth edition of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai has arrived, with Trèsind Studio and FZN by Björn Frantzén keeping their three stars and homegrown favorite Orfali Bros earning a second, making it the first restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine to reach Dubai’s two-star tier.
Unveiled on October 6 at Atlantis The Royal, itself a Three MICHELIN Key hotel, the 2026 selection recognizes 122 restaurants spanning 38 cuisines. That’s a nearly 77 percent jump from the guide’s inaugural Dubai edition in 2022, when 69 restaurants made the cut.
For diners, the results offer plenty of reasons to revisit the city, whether the occasion calls for an elaborate tasting menu, a coveted chef’s counter or a neighborhood table worth crossing town for.

The headline belongs to Orfali Bros. Run by three brothers from Aleppo, the restaurant began as a Bib Gourmand, earned its first star in 2024 and now joins Il Ristorante–Niko Romito, Row on 45 and STAY by Yannick Alléno in Dubai’s two-star category. Michelin framed the promotion as the restaurant’s evolution from “a brilliant neighbourhood bistro” into “a flagship of Middle Eastern gastronomy,” and it underscores the growing influence of homegrown restaurants in a city long associated with the biggest names in global hospitality.
At the top of the selection, Trèsind Studio and FZN by Björn Frantzén retain three stars, reinforcing their standing among Dubai’s most exceptional dining destinations. They give the city two compelling anchors for travelers who build an itinerary around an extraordinary meal.

New Stars, New Tables, New Awards
There is new talent to book, too. Birch and KIGO enter the guide with one star each, bringing the one-star category to 14 restaurants. KIGO also shines for its hospitality, with Akinori Tanigawa and the team taking home this year’s Service Award.
Beyond the starred tables, four restaurants (Middle Child, S.E.A BISTROT, Three Bros and YUBI Dubai) join the Bib Gourmand selection, which recognizes good quality and good value. The category now includes 22 establishments, a reminder of the everyday appeal that gives Dubai’s food scene its depth.
Another 13 restaurants debut in the MICHELIN Selected category, including Barrafina, Carbone, China Tang and Maison Dalí. Among them is WINDOW, which also earns Opening of the Year for Gonzalo Platero and his team. Ossiano’s Rémy Marquignon receives the Young Chef Award, Ninad Jani of avatāra takes the Sommelier Award, and Carbone Dubai’s Zahra Erfanian Azmoodeh wins the Exceptional Cocktails Award.
One practical note before you book: Al Muntaha, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Ossiano and Smoked Room were reported as temporarily closed at the time of the announcement but kept their stars, and Michelin says it will re-evaluate restaurants when they reopen.

A City With Its Own Culinary Identity
For Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, the fifth edition marks a milestone in the city’s rise as a global culinary destination. He highlighted the combination of established restaurants maintaining their standards and new concepts earning recognition, along with the breadth of cuisines and price points represented.
Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guides, similarly pointed to the balance between homegrown talent and international arrivals as evidence of a city developing its own culinary identity while embracing traditions from around the world.
That breadth is what makes this year’s selection so appealing. Dubai’s dining credentials now stretch from three-star experiences to independent restaurants and accessible neighborhood favorites. With 122 addresses recognized, the only real challenge is deciding which reservation to make first.
