Tiffany Blue Meets HardWear: Inside the New Turquoise and Pearl Collection
Tiffany HardWear turquoise debuts in October 2026: nine 18 karat gold designs with turquoise and Akoya pearls.
Tiffany HardWear now comes in turquoise. On October 6, 2026, Tiffany & Co. unveiled new HardWear by Tiffany designs, including necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants crafted in 18k gold and set with turquoise and lustrous Akoya pearls, debuting on Tiffany.com and at Tiffany & Co. stores globally this month.
The nine new designs are an exercise in color. “Creativity begins when color becomes a language,” said Nathalie Verdeille, Senior Vice President, Chief Artistic Officer, Jewelry and High Jewelry, Tiffany & Co. “Like in pointillism, each stone becomes a point of color and light; together, they create a vibrant interplay that comes alive through movement.”
Natalie Portman, who was named a Tiffany & Co. global House ambassador in March 2026, is pictured wearing the hero suite. Its statement necklace and matching drop earrings alternate turquoise beads and Akoya pearls atop the signature HardWear links, a bold interplay of color and form carried through each design.

The starting point is a historic Tiffany & Co. necklace of lapis lazuli and pearls, worn by Rachel Lambert “Bunny” Mellon, whose discerning eye helped define a distinctly American approach to style. Verdeille reimagines that archival design with turquoise and Akoya pearls, taking her palette from Pop Art and the works of Andy Warhol.
HardWear itself draws on a design from 1962 and embodies the energy, creativity and resilience of New York City. Color, meanwhile, has long been central to the House’s creative world, from stained glass masterpieces and its instantly recognizable hue to today’s iconic jewelry collections. This launch simply brings the two stories together.

The convertible 34-inch necklace is built for versatility. Two seamlessly integrated clasps let it be worn as a long necklace, a double-wrap necklace or a shorter necklace paired with a bracelet. Pyramid-shaped gold domes secure each stone, their pointed profile playing against HardWear’s rounded beads and U-shaped links.

Beyond the hero suite, another suite stations larger turquoise beads throughout the links, and everyday pendants and earrings set with Akoya pearls or turquoise echo the same codes. On Tiffany.com, the Medium Link Pendant in Yellow Gold with Turquoise is $2,900, while drop earrings with pearls and turquoise are $14,500.

The stones carry their own pedigree. Turquoise is one of the House’s legacy gemstones, popularized by Tiffany & Co., and each bead, sourced from the United States and Mexico, is selected and color matched to show the range of blues unique to natural turquoise. The Akoya pearls are sustainably sourced from Japan.
Turquoise was the right call for HardWear: it softens the industrial gold without diluting its strength, and it gives a familiar icon real collector appeal. Start with the convertible necklace. For more of Haute Living’s Tiffany coverage, see Verdeille’s Bird on a Rock reinvention.
